You're absolutely right, there is nothing wrong with Uru looking elegant and beautiful. But if she's a ruler, she should be a capable leader, right? And I find that having a scar here and there just kind of shows that she is as much of a capable leader as well as a fighter.

Plus, my Uru isn't exactly quite like how other people pictured Uru - my Uru is a determined, iron-willed, serious character who is something of a control freak. But how can she not be when she has an entire pride to look after, especially when she's just created the Prideland pride, and doesn't have Mohatu around to teach her the ropes of starting her own pride?

Not to say that those who have Uru become the ruler of the Pridelands and don't have her acting this way are in any way wrong - that's just how I think she should be as leader, and just how it is in this universe xD

As much as a part of me hates to admit it, but I prefer this so much.

I mean, come on, there is no way Uru - if she is in fact Mohatu's daughter, and in your universe she is, which I applaud because who says Mohatu couldn't have had a girl be his heir instead of a son. Mohatu has never really struck me as the 'stingy' type - could keep her pride and lands safe from rogues without getting into a few fights.

Most people potray Uru as this elegant and beautiful lioness... not that that is a bad thing. It isn't, but you know that. What I mean is lionesses don't have it any easier than lioness, even in real life. They get into fights as much as the males, and usually it's lioness vs lioness!
