Because I totally picture Lutalo being a bit of a possessive jerk when it comes to Rhaenys. He likes her, and therefore he doesn't like it when other lions talk to her xD Poor Rhaenys. She'll still have her paws full with him.

That's exactly what I was going for with this! Even though the big difference between his relationship with Rhaenys vs. his relationship with Samanya is that he cares about Rhaenys. Not that he didn't like Samanya, but he and Rhaenys are a bit more intimate, I should say, than he and Samanya ever were. Their only connection was Ajani, and once he died, that was the end of them.

I could easily see Lutalo acting like this around the other males, Rhaenys is practically the only person he has and I'm sure he'd be somewhat afraid of losing her to someone else like he did with Samanya.
