Nope, sometimes it just doesn't at all! Especially when one member of
the party just happens to constantly fall back on his violent
mannerisms as a defense mechanism. I imagined that too, that Jamil is
kind of a big brother/protector, not just to Rhaenys, but to everyone
else in the pride as well. But he just happens to look out more for
Rhaenys because of her persistent prodding of Lutalo. |

JAMIL TO THE RESCUE! Sometimes the Brooding Boy Gentle Girl routine doesn't quite work out. At least Rhaenys tries, though, for Lutalo's sake. I kinda imagine that Jamil becomes a sort of big brother figure to her and tried to persuade her to leave Lutalo be whenever this sort of thing happens. |
