Touch Her Again, I Dare You
SEE, I TOLD YOU I WAS ON A KICK WITH THESE TWO.
And then there's Jamil.
See, Lutalo has some issues, and an incredibly short temper. So what happens when Rhaenys tries to get him out of his shell? He snaps. Fortunately, Jamil is a good protector.

Nope, sometimes it just doesn't at all! Especially when one member of
the party just happens to constantly fall back on his violent
mannerisms as a defense mechanism. I imagined that too, that Jamil is
kind of a big brother/protector, not just to Rhaenys, but to everyone
else in the pride as well. But he just happens to look out more for
Rhaenys because of her persistent prodding of Lutalo. |

JAMIL TO THE RESCUE! Sometimes the Brooding Boy Gentle Girl routine doesn't quite work out. At least Rhaenys tries, though, for Lutalo's sake. I kinda imagine that Jamil becomes a sort of big brother figure to her and tried to persuade her to leave Lutalo be whenever this sort of thing happens. |
