A Moment of Peace
Just a Kiara, relaxing in the water C:
And that blasted water was such a challenge. I've never done this kind of water before and I think I'm kind of happy with it now. Actually drawing and finishing Kiara (who is normally the hardest character for me to draw) took probably less than half the time of the water :P Completely disregard the rest of the background. Ugh.

This is one of my favorite drawings. Reason being that the colour and
ripples of the water mixing in with the rocks and lush green grass
give this drawing a real sense of the beauty of the natural
environment; as well as the important connection that it binds us to.
I also like the bright golden colour of Kiara's fur. It seems brighter
than the rest of the picture; and I think that this works well to
focus on the centre attention of the picture itself; which is Kiara.
And after all that Kiara went through; the struggling love connection
with Kovu and bringing the prides together; she is finally at peace,
and I love the way that she lies in the water to feel it: That is so
sweet! I love the feeling of peace that this picture brings to the
audience. You are very talented, mate. I love you artwork so much.
