I have to wonder, then, how Rickon is going to feel about Dekka then. Sure, Amara and Dekka start off on the wrong paw before they will eventually end up respecting each other, and then Dekka will be involved with Chike. Since Rickon was Chike's friend growing up, I'd have to wonder how he and Tanabi would react to her xD

Tanabi is the glue that keeps these two together. I do think they get better as they get older, it's never perfect but they can come to respect each other even if they aren't close. At least they aren't at each other's throats which is always a good thing.

I can totally see that, though. But I think that their relationship, even though it might never be very close, will improve in the future, perhaps through Tanabi or some sort since he's such a big part of the puzzle.

Well Rickon and Amara don't hate each other...they just don't feel comfortable around each other. Neither of them really gave the other a chance to bond with them and so they're probably very likely to see the other with suspicion. They have the same goals and their hearts are in the right place but thy just don't really like each other and are too stubborn to change anything.

Thanks Nama! I was a little bit afraid that maybe this went too far in terms of where you were planning on going with Amara and Rickon's relationship since the only mention of it in Rickon's bio didn't necessarily go into much depth. But all the same I'm so happy that you love it :3
