Well, Chike does side with Tanabi and Rickon (mostly because she isn't a big fan of Simba after being all but kicked out of the Pridelands) but I don't think she'd be there for the actual fighting. My idea was that she and the allies she obtained were held up, for one reason or another, and so weren't there when the battle took place.
