That's understandable, she's lost nearly everyone she formed a close bond with and I can understand if she is scared to form a bond with Ari...although that doesn't stop Ari from trying. Ari can understand where Samanya is coming from, she lost Kayode and Maalik as well. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING WITH THESE TWO! THEY NEED MORE EXPLORATION!

I imagine Ari would worry over him because he gets worse instead of better. She doesn't want to kick him out but I imagine she'd start to fear for the safety of the pride. Perhaps Jamil can help, he has experience with young violent males since he grew up in a bachelor pride.

She would be a good mother, *nods* I can't wait to see where their relationship goes. It would be a while before Samanya would even dare try to form a close relationship with Ari, understandably after what happened with Gacheru and Ajani. THESE GUYS NEED SOME THINGS DONE TOGETHER. LIKE NOW.

As for poor Lutalo... I wonder where fate is going to go with him...

Ari would love Samanya like a daughter, she is the cub that she and Maalik never had. Even though Samanya is an adult (or thereabouts) when she arrives in Ari's pride, Ari does act like a mother to her. She wants Samanya to be happy and to have a good life. Ari understands that she has demons in her past and does everything she can to try and help her and Lutalo...even though with him she doesn't have much luck.

I think Samanya would be a good leader.

I agree with you, I think Ari would come to see Samanya as the cub she and Maalik never had in their time together, and spoil her just a bit because of what happened to the two of them. But there would still be that little reminder that Samanya is Maalik's blood cub, but Ari would never just view her as being Maalik's cub. I think she would eventually see Samanya as HER and Maalik's cub.

I think she would too. That would be very interesting, to see Samanya go from such a terrible background to rising up in the ranks as the next pride leader.

I love these two. Maalik brought these two together and it does them both some good. Ari would never love someone like she did Maalik and Samanya needs the stability that Ari and her pride can provide for her. I think Ari would come to see Samanya as a daughter and not just a piece of Maalik.

I can easily imagine that Ari might groom Samanya to take her place as pride leader some day.
