Tojo My Version

Personality: As a cub very shy, but warm, welcoming, and loved adventure. It was after being outed by Scar and Kula abandoning him that he developed a horrible temper and became very jealous at the drop at a hat. This behavior continued much later into his life, at least until he returned to the Pridelands at a very old age, finally realizing how wrong he was during his adulthood, and wanting to make things right with Kula.

Mates: Kula, Tama, many others

Cubs: Firion (w/ Kula); the cubs he had with Tama were all stillborn; had many others, but doesn't know about them

History: The runt son of Mufasa and Sarabi, and the twin to Simba. Gotto was originally in line to take the throne, but he disappeared shortly after his birth, and so Simba had to take his place. Since Tojo was never meant to be King, he lived a very quiet existence, making close friends with Chumvi and Tama. Kula was a snob even as a cub, and he didn't like her much.

When his father died and Scar took the throne, he cast Tojo and Chumvi out, seeing them as a threat to his position. As they grew into adults, Tama and Kula joined them, and Kula ended up seducing Tojo, and leaving afterwards.

This changed Tojo for the worse, and soon he wanted Tama as his mate. Chumvi disagreed since he claimed Tama already, but Tojo was mad and demanded that he have Tama. Shocked by his friend's sudden change in demeanor, Chumvi allowed him to take Tama. She gave birth to a litter of cubs, but the cubs Tojo conceived with her were stillborn. The only cub that survived was the cub Tama had with Chumvi, but they both agreed that they would play along that Timira was Tojo's daughter.

Life went smooth for them until the day Tama broke away from them, becoming pregnant once more, this time by a rogue. She didn't want to have a fight stir over her, but it happened anyways, where it was accidentally revealed by Chumvi that Timira was his daughter, not Tojo's. In blind rage, he struck the cub, and abandoned her and his former friend.

Tojo traveled across the African plains, weaving in and out of relationships with rogue lionesses who were only interested in having cubs. His bad temper continued up until he grew very old, and decided he would return to Pride Rock to make up with Kula.

Simba permitted him in, and once he saw Kula, he tried apologizing and appealing to her - he wanted her as his mate. She denied him, never outgrowing her lust for power.

Saddened, Tojo continued to live his days living in Pride Rock, dying some days before the birth of Abel.
