I don't know where this concept came from. Originally it was supposed to be Firion crying in regret after he reunites with Shasta and she tells him what happened in their past (since he can't remember it or anything...), and it just turned into something else.
Maybe when Firion realizes that he can't remember anything, since this seems to be after he smacked his head hard and lost his memory.

Nama - Well things will eventually perk up for both him and Shasta.
It'll just be a long time before that happens. But like I've said,
this leads for good character growth! |
