King Ahadi

Ahadi's father, Mohatu, never had much time for his son due to his Kingly duties. In fact, the only time Ahadi spent with his father was when he was taken out for his lessons. Mohatu was a great, wise, and beloved King, and when he passed away the pride and the animals were in a panic - how could any king be as great as Mohatu was?
Constantly in his father's shadow, Ahadi swore to make his mark on history just like his father did, and be the best King the Pridelands ever saw. He followed the laws and rules of the lands as strictly as he possibly could, and any rule-breakers among his subjects were severely punished.
And when his sons were born, Mufasa and Taka, he found himself never having much time for them, just like his own father. And when it was decided that Mufasa would heir, Taka was cast aside by his father, and was usually forgotten about. Taka, craving the attention that Mufasa recieved from his father, resorted to mischief to get his father's attention. This only made the situation worsen, as Ahadi constantly yelled and punished Taka for disobeying the rules. He even compared Taka to Mufasa on numerous occasions, saying how Taka should be a lot more like Mufasa, and how Mufasa was the perfect son. And finally when Taka challenged Mufasa for throne, the two princes fought. Taka lost, and received a scar from the fight. Law stated that any challenger of the throne was to be stripped of his titles, given a new name, and exiled. Ahadi's mate, Uru, however, convinced Ahadi not to exile his son, however Taka, was given a new name and was stripped of his status as prince. It was only when Taka began to change into the cold-hearted Scar was Ahadi able to realize the grave mistakes he had made.
