Don't Shut Him Out

Don't Shut Him Out

'Ayo, stop acting like a cub!' scolded Baako.
'Mom, he started it. And I'm not going to tolerate it,' the young lion growled.
Baako sighed. 'Let me tell you a story, about two sisters who were the best of friends growing up, but were split apart over a petty little thing. Those sisters never made up, and one sister died before the other could apologize. I won't sit by and let you and Erevu destroy the good thing you have right now.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It came to my mind suddenly! Because as adults I'm sure Ayodele and Erevu would have arguments over the littlest of things. And being down that road before, Baako doesn't want the two brothers to mess up their relationship.
END THE CYCLE!
Nama - It does break her heart. I mean what happened between her and Enu was unforseenable, and really Enu ended up digging the grave for their relationship herself, but with Baako lies the guilt that she should've been more patient with her younger sister, and try to understand that she wasn't trying to hurt Baako on purpose. She was kind of really doing it as a defense mechanism since Kayode was gone. So I think, because of what happened between them, Baako would do all she could to ensure Ayo and Erevu don't end up going down the same path.
I think they would too. I mean they've had their bad days, and there might be bouts of jealously here and there, but since they don't outright hate each other as say like Sassia and Quanna, and Enu to Baako, then I think they'll end up okay!
You tell 'em, Baako! I'm sure it must be hard for her to see Ayodele and Erevu falling out after all that happened with Enu. It must really break Baako's heart.
I'm sure that if Erevu ever gets back to the pride, he and Ayodele would probably make up on the spot!
