Mjomba from Lion Guard
Well, well, well... After the positive feedback I received from you, my dear friends and watchers, I decided to make one of the ideas coming true and which have to wait for their own turn because of life circumstances. :)
I remember that I clicked out of curiosity in one of friend's gallery. She did simple sketches of her favourite characters from various cartoons, not only the Disney ones. (Some of them are my fav ones, too, but that's an another story :) )
And then I saw the Mjomba one: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Lion-guard-mjomba-the-aardwolf-622691237
It interested me, because I hadn't seen this character before. I only knew he's dubbed by the same voice actor who also dubbed my dear whiny and scrawny pirateish Muse. And... Mjomba's an aardwolf? Aardwolf? What the hell is the aardwolf?! I've never heard about that strange creature nor I've seen it in my entire life! :O
So I've been searching for the infos about the mentioned character and the species. Well, even of graduating university, I can learn something new in my life. Well, well, Life, you're still surprising me after all damned 25 years. (Talking now like an old lady, oh well... :) )
Ok, let's come back to the subject.
So, like I mentioned earlier, I was searching for the infos about the mentioned character and the species. When I found the valuable ones, I watched the episode of the Lion Guard called "Too Many Termites". I found that cute and entertaining and I wanted then to draw him, because I haven't found a lot of his fanart in DA nor in the other sites (except the friend I mentioned earlier and the random artists. Even in the Lion King Source, no one drew him.
Unfortunately, I hadn't got a spare time because of the life habits and chores I had then. (And I'll still have ones. :/)
But now I can upload this picture, which was done the day before the end of the year, so I can now cross out one of the goals I wanted to achieve in my own personal goal list. Woohoo. :)
The picture was done in Creadu A5 sketchbook with the weight of 120 g per square centimeter and finished by using the black fineliner and 12 old school crayols (again :) ). Enjoy this pic. :)
Mjomba, the Lion King universe and the Lion Guard one belong to Disney.
Art belongs to me.
