the hunter's prowl

the hunter's prowl

His stomach rubbed against the dirt ground. His attention lay only upon the flicking tail of the mouse. This would be the day he finally would catch the mouse. He crouched down and felt the spring twist up in his muscles. His tail haunches waged back and forth ready to attack. His back legs released and sprang forward, but he narrowly missed his prey and he felt the tip of its tail slip out of his claws. The mouse looked bakc at him and he felt as if it were mocking him. thsi only made him more determined, so he mentaly prepare himself to try again...

I just felt like I had to tell a story with this. I was inspired to tell and draw this from my own cat. i'm absolutely terrible at backgrouds, ech. Yet, I try anyway.
