Scar prowled the borders of the pridelands- Zira had promised to meet him here, where could she-
'Scar!' There she was, running towards him, her muscles rippling as she moved, her son shining in what was left of the sunlight.
'Zira...' Scar greeted her with a loving nuzzle. This had been routine since they had been teens- meeting for sunset every other evening.
There was an air of sadness between them in this meeting, a knowledge that they'd never be able to marry.
The next day, Scar would marry Sarafina, and Zira would meet her own betrothed. However upseting this was, there love had never been stronger.
'This is the end...' Zira murmered.
Scar, looked her in the eye and said, confidently, 'Oh no, my dear, this is only the beginning...'

Merr. Don't really like this but I guess it's okay considering I didn't use any referances. Wanted to try my hand at a bit of realistic style...
