Confrontation
'You've poisoned her,' argued Teshi, keeping herself cool as to prevent herself from lashing out at the brown-tinted female.
Fang snorted. 'Yeah right, I PERSONALLY went out of my way to destroy Abeni's innocence. Yup, I totally did it'
'She was a nice cub when she disappeared. Now that she's back she's unruly and... and...' Teshi couldn't even find the words to describe it. 'Ayo, say something!'
The younger lion sighed. 'I think the evidence itself is quite clear'
Ikeena, normally the calmer prescence, stepped forward. 'She's just as part of our pride as she is yours,' he reasoned. 'You can't punish her by preventing her from seeing us'
'She's my daughter!' snarled Teshi, her patience disappearing.
Fang scoffed. 'She's also mine'.

I think I have to do some clarification on ages here because I was thinking about it as I was drawing this.
Ikeena was an adolescent when he and Reno left Ni's pride, putting him around maybe 2-3 years old. He fathered Chari with Hania at around 5 (since that is when lions reach sexual maturity), and raised Chari, Adwin, and Zuri until they were adolescents so they're 3 years old when they leave Ikeena and Reno, so therefore Ikeena would be 8 years old at the time.
He stays with Reno and Sauda until Reno takes responsibility of his family. He meets his pride, and takes care of Abeni with Fang until she's an adolescent so that's another 3 years. So he would be 11 at this point. He still has some years considering lions in the wild live from 15-20 years.
Ayodele, meanwhile, would have to be 7 1/2 years old. He fathers Abeni with Teshi at a young age (4-4 1/2 years) while Teshi was 5 when she met Ayo, so she's 8 years old. And Fang... well not sure yet xD
Sooo... yeah, education lesson right there. Ikeena isn't a spurtful young adult, he's 11 years old so he has quite some years on him.

out, but she, Faith, and Ikeena try their best to be there to make her

Adia - She does xD And Abeni would not take well to this. Since her
and Teshi have a big falling out once she reunites with her family
pride - since Abeni becomes more tomboyish and Teshi believes that
Ikeena and his pride had something to do with it - she would
definitely side with Ikeena and Fang. Not that Ayo and Teshi aren't
bad parents (even though Teshi is generally hard on her daughter, she
does really care about her), but Abeni sees Fang and Faith (as well as
Ikeena and the rest of the pride) more as her family, so she joins
them. |
Also, Dakota,
how would Abeni take this confrontation? Like, who would she side
with?
