Makini lives up to his name...
This is a picture of Makini after he has just saved Kurudi but let his father go. He is taling to his father.
Kovu was in the gorge talking to Kurudi and Makini when the cliff they were walking on collapsed. Kurudi and Kovu fell onto the cliff below. Makini could see it was about to fall at any moment. He knew that if he were to grab onto both of them he would fall with them. He then had to make a difficult chose.
Save his mate or his father.
His grandfather Simba told him how painful it was to lose a father but if he lost Kurudi he would have no future.
Kovu and Kurudi were yelling at him, the cliff was breaking and Makini reached for the paws of the lion he chose to save...
