-......didn't I?...
I really do wish they kept in Nuka's last words from his original death scene. It would have added so much more depth to his character, and would have shown that the 'bad guys' also had feelings and loved ones, and reasons as to why they do things. I understand why they deleted it. I mean, they could have kids deciding to hurt themselves to get their parents attention. But it would have been such a god addition, y'know?
Here's the deleted scene in case anyone wants to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POiuesibKH4
The only real purpose to Nuka's character in the whole film was to basically die and give Zira another reason to see that Kovu betrayed them (that and to add a little humor, which worked since Timon and Pumbaa just weren't funny in this film).
Watching Nuka's Death back, made me realise how lazy Disney were. The animations were sloppy, and they were too lazy to animate the scene properlly. They show him chasing simba, foot grab, simba angry, Nuka happy, a foot, Nuka falling. It wasn't clear whose foot it was, how he actually fell, and how the logs fell on top of him.
When I was little, I used to think that the foot was Simba's and that he kicked a log at Nuka, who eventually fell.
ANYWAY! I'm quite pleased with this. I was stuggling with Nuka a little though. He's more rounded than the other outlanders, and I had just made him look fat. So I changed him a little. he looks better like this in my opinion anyway.
