I was wondering If kovu apparently isn't related to scar why does he look so strikingly similar to him?(green eyes,nose,dark fur,hair under legs etc) & also when Kovu looked into that pond he saw Scar's face in it a scene very similar to when simba saw HIS FATHER'S face in a pond & If Nuka & Vitani are Scar & Zira's Children & Zira loved scar why did she mate with someone else?(Unless it was Rape)I don't see why Disney didn't keep kovu as scar's son even if it caused incest it makes the most sense .

scar's not kovu's sire moonlight the secound movie made it to clear. Its not made up fanfic stuff and because its unknown who fathered kovu the only thing that can be said for sure about kovus genes (mom wize anayway) are his eye marking are from herand the fact that he doesnt retract his claws. Personally scar and kovu hardly look alike at all to me a side from kovu's smile that is and his eyes even then scar's eyes are lighter.

Oh my god..it's called heridity! That means you get some genes from your mom, and some from your dad. Kovu obviously got his green eyes from his father, Scar. He got his fur color from a mix of the two colors. Zira's is lighter, and Scar's is darker. When combined, you get a color that is in-between. Then, he got his awesome nose from both his parents, and his mane color from His Mother. Scar's mane was to dark to be like Kovu's. Know that I learned this in SCHOOL, and not on my own.

I actually have a good idea in my opinion scar & Ahadi(Scar's Dad ) look very similar & that he came from another pride and married Uru (Scar's mum & the king's daughter) & kovu's dad came from that same pride & mated with zira b4 being killed by scar this would explain why kovu & scar look similar but aren't related what do you think????

he doesn't look like him at all... his fur is brown and scar's fur is orange,kovu's eyes are dark green and scar's eyes are bright green,kovu'a mane is fuller than scar's and it is dark brown-almost black-not like scar's,kovu has a pony and scar doesn't have a pony
