In TLK2 Zira says Kovu was the last born afore they were banished.

Judging by Sarabi's treatment, I'd say she was Scar's mate, and in prides only the leader's mate can have cubs.

Say Sarabi was thought to be dead, then she can back half-insane and renamed herself Zira? It would be an excelent cause to be unknown as Simba's mother and get banned.

Just a thought...

I don't think so. Sarabii never died and also they kind of look different and she didn't seem like the type who would try too kill her own son and grandaughter so no. It can't be.

Lil Simba is right the voice actor of Sarabi died before the movie there for she could not be in the movie.

I doubt it. They would have included something in the film. And btw Its meant to be arafina, nala's mother, who says "my how you've grown" to kiara

Okay. I understand where you are coming from. However the only reason that Sarabi was NOT in TLK2 was because the actress that played her died. She could not have been Scar's mate because then she would have to be a main character in the sequel and I don't Disney producers wanted that.

Very nice thought but Sarabi is still in the pridelands, it is said that the lioness who said to Kiara, "My how you;ve grown." is Sarabi. Mind you though it could be a good fic and/or article
