Why did Scar hate Mufasa so much? they were brothers, right? is it that Scar wasn't chosen to be king???

The reason Scar hates Mufasa was it's said that Scar was once called Taka but his father hit him and gave him a Scar, but Mufasa being perfect number 1son he was chosen to be king rather then Scar. So I think its just sibling rivalry or pure jelousy |

He was just jelus because Mufasa had a son and he knew that Simba would be next to be king,not him. |
