gold kitty
I sent my new story to the site 8 days ago and I haven't got an answer if it is accepted or not...
I sent a private message to the manager of the site and asked him about that and he hasn't answered me... /=
Does somebody have an idea why it is happened??
Thanks

Do you know how many fics there are that are submitted
compared to fanfic mods? There's a good size ratio. And
there's only one fanfic mod that is on a couple times a day,
and she has other moding duties, along with fanfics. But you
never PM a fanfic mod asking how long until a fanfic is
checked. They will upload it when they get around to it.
They don't live here and have lives, too, ya know. ;D

well golden maby a mod hasn't got to read it yet. my friend that a mod is a real person and so they have to be on to check it. As for the webmaster hes probably got a lot of emails so yours could be at the bottom. I hope this helps |

That is a very bad idea. You should NEVER PM the master concerning fanfics. The mods will get to it sooner or later. They can't get on to read fanfics every day of their lives. Plus, it takes time and plenty of patients because if you have written a long fanfic, it takes longer to read. It is rude to PM people, ESPECIALLY the master, hurrying them to read a story. They have lives, too. |
I'm not gonna bother with sending fanfics if they arn't gonna get read and neither is anyone else. Writers need approval to know they're work is good.
Gold Kitty could be tomorrows Jaquline Wilson or Meg Cabot and no-one'll ever know and her talent will never be discovered all because nobody read her fanfic!
Writing is about confidence, if you have none, you'll get fed up and feel that it is going nowhere. If you feel you're work is rubbish, then you arn't gonna want to bother writing are you? Every time you reach for a pen you read your work and it mocks you with a nasty snarl and you run out of pages, and your mind is quicker then your hand.
Oh God, this is from 2007, God am I opinianated!
