In the first movie, there was no outlands, and when Kiara ran EXACTLY the same way simba did to the elephant greaveyard, there was NO OUTLANDS or a river???????

As Sukari said, the Elephant Graveyard is in the Outlands but it wasn't called that then because no 'Outalnders' lived there. |

When they made the first Lion King, they did not have a sequel in mind. The outlands were invented when Simba's Pride went into production. The outlands are different from the elephant graveyard. |
