In the Lion King 1 1/2 how come they changed the original idea of Timon being exiled away from his colony? The idea of Timon being kicked out was mentioned in the deleted scenes of the first movie, and also in the Timon and Pumbaa TV series in an episode call 'once upon a Timon'

	yer mum.

Because they were trying to make it more interesting or less confusing, or more 'kid friendly'.

I guess they wanted a fresh new idea, or otherwise there wouldn't be much point in doing it. You raised an important question, however, and I'd been wondering about the same thing myself.

Maybe Disney thought Timon being exiled would be to harsh of a Plot. Besides if They went with that Timon would have spent the movie trying to undo whatever mistake He made.
