I am writing a fan fiction, and Mohatu's name appears once. Should I add him as a character, or not?

Unless you plan to introduce him as a character, whether he be minor or major, you should be in the clear. Now, if he actually makes an appearance but it's only a one time thing, then you might want to consider it.

If he is mentioned once I don't think you should add him since he isn't actually present in the chapter. :3
