Well, if you're a beginner, it's best to start out with Paint.NET.
It's free, and not as complicated as Gimp or Photoshop. The best part
is that it makes your renders look clean, and not like you made it
from some cheap program. That is, if you know how to use it right. If
you don't consider yourself a beginner, try Gimp. It's free and easier
to get used to then Photoshop. And unlike Paint.NET, Gimp makes your
renders look a little more realistic. |

If you're not sure, have a look through the tutorials and see which is
easier to understand - that's why I downloaded GIMP! |
