In the last page of the comic 'Simba and the snake', Sarafina had a cub in her arms. It can't be Mheetu, so who could it be? (Please don't say "It's Mheetu", because they wouldn't add him into a comic)

The cub isn't important to the story. Maybe comic authours knew about Mheetu and wanted to do a little "easter egg" in their comic. Or they just get mistaken and didn't know much about TLK so they added a cub in Sarafina's arms. Who knows.

Sarafina was probably baby sitting the cub for a while for it's mother, or i could have been another cub that wandered too far from the den and sarafina found it and was keeping it safe, till its mother came or something.

Sarafina was probably just watching over it while the mom was gone. Nala didn't acknowledge the cub, so it more then likely wasn't a family member of theirs. Nobody says anything about the it either, so the little guy couldn't be important.
