Okay, so I was given two cub adopts the other day, however, although one looks rather strange, I found one that looked all too familiar to a little princess we know...

I colored her into one of my bases and tweaked it a little, however, the colors are still to similar:

Because she was given to me, and after talking to the person who gave her to me, I cannot change her design at all, I can't change the others design either

Does she look too much like Kiara?

Having a similar color scheme is not wrong. With so many lions on the site, it's natural that a few tend to have similar colors. But according to me, this lovely character is in no way similar to Kiara. Plus, they do the same thing in the movies. All background lionesses look almost alike. That's accepted, so why can't this?

I don't see anything wrong with the coloring. There's nothing wrong with having colors similar to an official's. Its the more natural coloring is all.

You can have the same colours as a canon character, nothing stopping you from doing that. Or is that not allowed on this site, having a colour scheme like a canon character?

Saku--> To be quite honest, this cub is totally different. The nose, the shade, anything. If it got validated by the mods, it's fine. I personally think this is very back stabbing.

Okay, but to me, she isn't very similar to Kiara. Her ears and legs are different and also her hair is a little bit longer. I have a character who is very much similar to Kiara's, just the color is only light. You can just change thelis base, and use cub Nala's.

Not really tisa, she's darker with different ears. As an adult you could make her a little darker

I don't think so. She's a little much darker and also some differences. If you could change her eye colour then I think It will be okay. By the way, she's cute!

I think its fine, and if you're still not comfortable with the similarities, I'm sure you could tweak the features, like making the fur on her head/tail a little longer as an adult. Also, cub and adult colours are different, so maybe make her pelt greyer as she gets older.
