Is it possible for a lion child (or teenage lion) to kill a fully-grown adult lion (regardless of the gender)?
I'm just a bit curious about this one, some people say they can and I believe they can't. I don't want anyone to jump to conclusions.
Could I get an answer for this one?
I don't want to spark up a debate for this, so if you have something to say that doesn't regard this, DON'T SAY IT

Judging by the image Blaze posted - No. No way. Adolescent - maybe - in the conditions Lionobsession explained, but a cub is too small and too weak. |

Father-lion-and-lion-cub-1.jpg no a lion cub can not kill an adult lion by its self if it where to say cause a lion/lionness to hurt it's self (such as broken leg ect) although not the one doing the killing would be the reason the lion/lionness died/was seen as weak then yes but that is a streach |

It could be possible depending on the health of the adult lion. If the
adolescent lion was strong and healthy, probably having had a meal
recently, and he was up against a weak adult lion that had caught a
disease or had had some terrible injuries recently, probably hadn't
eaten for a while, then I would think it was possible. As for
lionesses, in the wild they normally stick together so only a lone
lioness could fight another lone lioness using the same conditions as
before, which are same for lioness x lion and lion x lioness. Don't quote me on this as I am only thinking what is possible in the wild and I hope this helps solve your problem. |
