Why didn't Simba and Nala have a second child? What if something were to happen to Kiara, if she died or something. What would they do then? If Zira had killed Kiara what would have happened then?

If you believe in Kopa and Fluffy then technically Kiara was their third child. I guess Simba and Nala are just unlucky with their children. It happens in the wild too. In a litter of 3 or 4, only 1 cub is likely to survive to adulthood in most instances.

I second what Lionobsession says, but then, there are lots of different opinions out there. This can be taken to forum discussion, as an answer to this can be based on opinion.
