You can try Firefox or Opera. I'm using Firefox and I had no issues so far.

I've only had this computer since June...I would use Internet Explorer (which I used to post my most recent character) but it's rather slow as well...I can live with it though until then, we're too busy to go in.

My old computer had Google Chrome and we had lots of ads. We went to have it fixed and they told us it was Google Chrome that made all the pop-ups. We had our computer wiped of the virus and we now use Internet Explorer. All I can suggest is getting someone to rid the virus and not use Google Chrome.

I would've gotten an alert if it was a virus, a bad one anyways. It's only with Google Chrome though.

If it started after downloading something - check your computer files if you don't have any weird programs installed that weren't here before. And check your browser if it didn't install you any other toolbars and ads you don't know about. Often programs downloaded from the internet automatically install other junk programs to your computer.
And scan your computer for viruses if this won't work.

It hasn't erased or corrupted anything so it isn't bad...I don't think anyways. It's a gaming ad or whatever, advertising online games, so far, my AdBlocker has blocked it all but they still pop up. The only GOOD ad the shows up is a related search; searching Disney-related websites (which are all safe, I checked)

Yes, I suppose that's the proper name to call them. They started to appear after downloading Paint.net. I'm not sure on what to do.
