the Lion King is still being recognize as one of the most popular films in the animation industry it was made by the disney company years ago in 1994 its songs are still popular as well becuase mostly when youm mention animated movies people think youre talking about those 3d computer animated films instead of those 2d traditional animated films but the Lion King however seems to be a 2d hand drawn animated movie not a cgi film and its still appealing to most people and it never lost fame even though hand drawn is not big animation industry much anymore so can you tell me why people still recall the Lion King when they dont recall some 2d animated films

Probably because (according to movie critics and public opinion) it was a very good and memorable movie. Great things are remembered. I think also a sentimental movie many people remeber from their childhood.
