Okay, so, in the lion king I, Nala has green eyes, but in the lion king II, Nala has blue eyes. What's up with that?

TLK2 was not made in-house at Walt Disney Animation Studios (the "real" Disney animators). It was farmed out to Disney's cheap direct-to-video studio, and they apparently had fairly bad quality control, because they got most characters' colours wrong, Nala's eyes included. Not the mistake of the animators; rather of whoever was in charge of ink/paint at (what was then called) Walt Disney Animation Australia. There's also no good excuse for it, since by this point ink/paint was completely digital.
In short: sloppy production like this is why you shouldn't outsource.

I counter this question with "What's up with Simba's eyes?" XD They
change from yellow to white within the first film alone XD As for this question, I would actually say there may not be a diff', as Simba is coloured to the extent of almost being orange, and Pumbaa is significantly darker than in the first film... I don't think they intended too, but the animators made some little mistakes ![]() It's just like painting one picture, then trying to paint it again and mixing the paints again- you get a similar colour, but not exactly the same ![]() |

Maybe that they said the green does not match nala's personaly so
changed it to Blue with is a lot better. ![]() |

Lion King 1,and 2,had different animators for Nala, that's the reason
her eyes look different, also there is a fan theory that Nala wept,or
cried, and changed the colour of them, because Zira killed Kopa, but
that's complete fiction,as Kopa is featured in TLK:Six New
Adventures. -Celtic Kate |
