In reality, Disney wouldn't accept a story from some stranger, they truly wouldn't.

On another note, If Disney WAS Going to make another Lion King, they would have done it a while ago. Disney rarely does animated films anymore, thanks to CGI.


Although, don't give up on you're dream! If you're looking into story writing for Disney, perhaps you should apply for a job when you're older. Anything can happen!

And, as a friendly tip, to improve you're writing skills, try writing stories. And remember to read!

I agree with Mighty they wouldn't take an idea from a kid and the movie would NOT be about Kopa returning because Kopa was NOT made by Disney and Zira retuning um.. In the 2nd Movie you could obviously tell she had drowned and she was tumbled by logs if she were to survive it would be a merical. Even if they did read it I know for a fact they wouldn't turn it into a movie like VitaniLover said they would only do something like that if it involved money and lots of money. Also it isn't the length of the story it's the facts that need to be correct

I think if Disney really was doing another The Lion King, would be about the past of Mufasa and Scar. And as he spoke Vitani, Zira would not be ideal to come back and take revenge, would become all too bloody. What about Kopa, well .. From what I know Disney has never had ideas about Kopa, the book was never something original Disney, if you know what I mean. It is quite likely that Kopa never appeared in one film, or maybe yes, maybe.
But still do not know if Disney would read your story, but let's hope so, apparently you are striving hard for it! Good luck!!

I don't think it would be about Kopa's return,since SixNewAdventures isn't really made by Disney,and also not everybody readed it. But it looks like your story has alot of pages. But still,don't inmediatly think they will accept it or even read it. A story from a young fan isn't supergreat,you know? And i guess the only reason they will make another movie is again money,like in TLK2,and i really would dislike that.

To all the people that don't believe me I have it done 143 pages and going to send it to Disney in a year because I need to read it over a couple of times and fix it uP right now its a finished rough draft so if they dO accept it the guy who Doesnt think I could do this can try all so. Why not all of you try then your story might get made so if we all do one then there would be one accepted by disney

Well, not everywhere is The Lion King 3 (Hakuna Matata) is called that instead it's just The Lion King 1 1/2 so I don't blame you for getting that a little mixed up. You can go ahead and write though I doubt Disney will really make it into a real movie.

Well, actually there IS a Lion King 3 (Hakuna Matata) and not to disppoint you, but it is unlikely they will approve to make another Lion King, or else they would have made one already. But making fanfictions is a great idea and I'm sure many people will love to read them ^^
