It's changed to just a warning now. I read one. And it's so much better then the 'G's' and 'PG's'

The notice is just a warning, but I've never come across an R rated one, I don't think there are many. Though I'm 11 and don't normally read over 13's, not because I'm a goody-two-shoes, because sometimes the story can actually be quite 'inappropiate' and sometimes slightly 'disturbing' but most of the time they're ok so I don't worry!

Unless nobody had ever read R rater fanfics, mods were never sent a notification or report of anyone underage reading them. I think it's just a warning there put in place a while ago to prevent people from reading them, but no official warning or ban is allowed to be set in place in my knowledge. It should only be a warning and the ban mentioning taken off in my opinion.

Yeah. of course you can read it if you're the author. Anyone can read it. I'm under the R rated fics too. And I was wondering the same thing. But, still. All of the fics sound great and I love reading them. So, yeah, I might try one of thr R rated ones. like kopaisreal said: it;s only suggesting. So yeah, you can read it no matter what!

Nobody says you CAN'T read it. Anybody can. It's just SUGGESTING you not.
