I WAS SEARCHING THE WEB AND I READ THAT THE LION AT THE END OF THE FIRST MOVIE WAS NAMED Fluffy and they say fluffy is what the cub at the end of The Lion King film was officially called until later given the identity of Kiara in the official storyline and that Fluffy never was even supposed to be officially anyone until Kiara. Could that be True?

Yes, Fluffy was developers name for that cub. They did not know how to
call him and so they named him Fluffy. It was a bit of a joke name and
it stuck with him for some time. After that, books The Lion King: Six
New Adventures came out and named him Kopa. But these books stayed
ignored by Disney and in TLK2 they changed obviously male looking cub
in female and named her Kiara. These are more known names. Otherwise there was some (rumored to be) newsletter leaked name Tanabi and in original development of TLK2, Simba had two cubs Chaka and Shani, but that changed in very early development. Male was removed and female was renamed. |
