I read all books and in books, as far as I know, there is no Kiara. First apperance of her is in TLK2. In books there is only Kopa. Nor is his death mentioned. As far as I know his death is fan work, when they tried to connect books with movies.

As for the question... translation is bit confusing, but if I understand it correctly, you are asking why did they use Kiara instead of Kopa. Answer is simple, Kopa would not fit in the story. In development of second movie there was male cub at first, that was very early in development. Later they added female cub. But story then changed and more focus was on female cub, so male one became unnecessary. Thats why they decided male cub would not fit in and removed him, to make stuff more simple. Since he had no major role in story.
Officially they never said what happened to Kopa. As far as Disneys logic goes he is not existent in movie universe. But fans did develop many stories about what happened to Kopa.

Given that Kopa dies as a cub, Disney probably gave a female role as
Kiara so the film could be longer and show cub to adult, just like the
first film. I haven't read the books but I'm sure Kiara was in them as
the second cub of Simba and Nala. |

....What are you exactly asking? Disney simply didn't want Kopa anymore. |
