Is Mufasa suppose to know that Scar is evil? And the Hyenas work for him?

Seth2208

Mufasa did not know his brother was evil. And he did not know about hyenas either. He only knew that Scar is jealous, because Scar wanted to be king, but never was before Mufasas death.

Not until the end, where he dies. Maybe not about the hyenas, but that Scar is evil.
