Not really a lagit queston but I and a couple of friends have been thinking on the Lion King "timon and Pumba" TV series? and simba is shown from time to time in the show, but what kept them from showing Kiara, Kovu, Nala, Mufasa or anyonee else in it as "geust stars"
yes I have thought about this so i have realized that the TV show came out before part 2 or the movie so that plays a part in it. the fact simba was young when he showed up in the TV series so, yeah Kiara and them would have had to be cubs, but it would have been a nice apreance if the other movie or story book characters could have been Quest stars on the TV series. So why weren't t hey put in? it would have spiced up the Show.

It is simple, Disney canceled making of the show, before second movie was released. That was due to rating drop, after they changed writers and director for the show. Though all happened in 1998, same as release of TLK 2, they probably wrote scripts for last season before that, probably early enough to not know enough about TLK 2 characters, to feature them in T&P show. If show would not be canceled, then they probably would feature them. Show mad wrong turn after change of writers and director. At first show was aimed as family show, but then they changed that and aimed it more towards children.

The most important answer is Seth2208's. I'm simply adding a little extra info to help support their answer.
