Note: This is directly movie related because it takes the plot and a few of the original characters.

Alright, I'm PerseusArgo, or Percy, whatever you feel like calling me. I get ideas like these all the time so let's see if this is a succesful one.

Basically this project includes you making yourself into a lion and then placing yourself into the pridelands or the outlands and then deciding on your life. There are original characters though: Simba is the current king of the pridelands with Zazu and Rafiki. Zira still leads the outsiders. But there's no Kiara or Kovu to connect the two so they're still fighting.

So let's get to your lion. I'm a girl but I gender-bent myself to make a lion character because I believe lions relfect a person's personality and style better because of their manes and builds, while most lionesses have the same build and no mane to distinguish them, but gender-bending yourself isn't required so do what you'd like. The next step is to create a color pattern for yourself; keep it realistic, no blue lions running around, now let's say your hair is dyed. Do you original hair color...there's no lion dyes. The basic fur color other than the mane can be your skin color or anything else related around that. Do you have a darker complextion or does your skin stay tan. Or are you just pale? Whatever goes, there's no judging here. :) Then your mane needs to be your hair color. Also let's not forget mane style, is it messy and rough, neat and soft, short/long, wavy/straight. Just go crazy. Are you built like Kovu, Simba, Kiara, Scar, Muffassa? Then the last step is to add your eye color.

Step Two: When you think about your social status are you a part of the royal family or are you a quiet outsider. Be truthful here, think about how you act around other people and trace that back here.

Step Three: Who are you friends? Any lovers? All your friends will be related to this project but if you want your lion to have a lover than you can make them love your fan character. So basically your friends can only be from this group and your mate needs to be a fan character or from this group. No original characters unless they're friends with Simba just because he's their king, tha'ts okay.

Step Four: What's your personality? Make sure your lion reflects your personality and character. No mary-sues, be yourself! That's the key.

After you've thought about these steps...here's the profile

Name:

Name Meaning:

Gender:

Age: Cub (We're all starting out as cubs)

Pride: Pride lands or Out lands

Physcial Apperance: Build/Colors: Explain why it's this way

Personality:

Likes:

Dislikes:

Friends: As this project goes along you can add here :)

Picture: Make sure you have a picture of your cub. Since he's/ she's just a cub you can do just their face. As long as we get their eye colors and colors. As they grow you'll need to update their picture to full body.

And that's the profile for now. Eventually your character will have a longer profile when it actually becomes a part of this group and has a character page.

So that's it for your lion. Now's for the actual juice and rules. By January 1st/2nd everyone who is going to join needs to be here. After that date I'll have to cut off joinings because of space reasons but if you're too late that's okay, I'll open another one again soon, no need to worry.

Rules

1. All things need to be here by Jan. 1st, 2014

2. This is a no-judge group, we're all friends here :)

3. No mary-sues...they're annoyingly unoriginal

4. Use your own art for this contest...drawings and renders are both allowed as long as colors are visible

5. Must fill out a profile and when the end date comes you have to create that character so they actually have a page.

Once you make it you're character's name goes here

PS: I forgot to change Mercutio's name to Perseus in the summary so you have to overlook that

Alright everyone with first round cubs, my fanfiction is officially on the site and you can read it here http://www.animationsource.org [...] eribus_Two_Sides_1/239250.html Enjoy!

They'll be cubs. Round I cubs will be at the age right before becoming a teen while Round II cubs will be a little younger. Probably a month or so after being a newborn cub. Then as we post more images, fics, and drawings they'll progressively age. I hope that helped

So we are creating a profile? Cool. 1 question. Will they be cubs? Or a different age .

Name: Buruji Name Meaning: Castle Gender: Male Age: Cub Pride: Outland Pride Physical Appearance/Build/Color: Being an Outlander, Buruji has a very thin body structure, sort of resembling Nuka's, though not as frail. He has a faint auburn coat, with a dark red mane, that many would mistake him to be a Pridelander because he doesn't fit in. He has dark brown eyes, with light yellow irises, an Outlander nose. I have red hair, though much brighter than his, but I made it darker to make him look more realistic. The pale red hue he has as his pelt color is just because I kinda like the red hues xD And the thin build resembles how I am in real life. He's also not as large as other lions (probably about the size of a full-grown lioness rather than a full-grown lion). Personality: Buruji hardly resembles what it means to be an Outlander - he's very peaceful, and funny. He would sooner fit in with a crowd of Pridelanders than with a crowd of Outlanders. He likes making friends, and avoiding fights, and is firm to the end, like a castle. If cornered in a situation where he needs to fend for himself, he won't hesitate to do so, but otherwise prefers negotiating before fighting. Likes: Friends, being creative, FOOD, sleeping Dislikes: Heat, Zira, getting into fights Friends: As this project goes along you can add here Lineart (C) SixNewAdventures I hope this is okay! ^^ (I'm not a guy, but you said that we could genderbend, so I thought I'd be a bit creative here xD)

Great, she's in. And are you okay with her being in the fanfic about 'Our Lion King'. I think I'm going to separate it into two parts since I'm almost done with the first one anyway. So she'll appear in the second one as an outlander

She is extrememly loyal and friendly, she enjoys being around other people and having friends she can count on. You mess with her family and friends and you will regret it. Alright I just sent Perseus' full body picture due to the fact that the site isn't letting me add files to his character page so you just have this for now.
