Welcome. This is a pride like no other, a pride that does not live in the pridelands, but under it. This pride is something of legends. Something that cannot be comprehended by the Lions Above.

These are the Others.

We live in a great cave systems and have found a unique way to light them. Glowing embers lay in the shallow rivets alongside the path, and on shelflike cuts in the walls above the streams and rivers. This is a gloriously clever pride, and their king, Granite, is proud to be a leader of them. 

They have rules though. No lion is to have any romantic relationship with Outsiders. They are not allowed to reveal their identity to Outsiders unless in their way to bring them to the Pride. Males should never be fed before cubs - not even Granite or his son Shale. (In-rp these can occasionally be broken.) Sparkle lions do not appeal to these Others and are promptly kicked out: they attract too much attention. The names here are fairly rock-based, bit not always. Also, other male lions are not treated as well as the rest of the pride. Twice a month, lionesses go up to the Above to hunt for large amounts of prey rather than just lizards.
