My father once told me we ruled all the lands under the sun. Alas, the sun is setting, and so is our rule, I fear... Simba's rule reached a peak with the reunion of the prides, but as hatered still festers both within and outside of the pride (most notably present in a resurgent hyena-clan), any seemingly futile incident could easily shater the percieved idile. Or could it, I mean, what could possibly threaten a unified pride? Surely no scruffy scavanger! Note: this is part one of a two part story, the first one setting the pieces, the second part playing them out. Seccond part may be delayed due to technical difficulties.

A red sun rises. This dawn, two queens face each other at Priderock, with seemingly no possible outcome other than the demise of one race in fortune of the other, unless maybe their mutual hatred consumes them both. How can anyone ever hope to avert this grim fate? Note: this is part two of a two part story, the first one setting the pieces, the second part playing them out. Seccond part has now been completed.
