Hello and welcome to the Sparklelands, a land hidden away from the rest of africa with various types of terrain, here the most regal of sparkle lions and other wild cats are found and live happily, creative in there character and looks, almost anything is possible. these wild cats run thier pride with pride and stand out in the sea of sparkle lions. But it's not easy finding your way to this  pride. is your sparkle up to the challange?

The Sparkle lions are lead by a King Ai a great winged lion large in stature (picture and page coming soon) and he is very protective of whom trys to join his pride, He and his Daughter the Lovely sixed legged Xing (image nad page comming soon) are looking for compainions. he has a few requirements that need to be met. Make sure you read them all and be sure to read the rules for this contest as well. everyone whom enters (with entries following all rules and requirements) gets a prize and thier desired rank. Please read all thats on the page thank you lets begin.

What King Ai is looking for:

• good sparkles, this means no quick paint bucket jobs with random colors. You can find the Examples of what King Ai is looking for as far as sparkle character qaulity in the "helpful tools" Seciont.

• Unique design, not over the top and they can be simple if you'd like.

• He doesn't want alot of "haired" females they can become far to over rated and hair doesn't always look right if not done right.

• Use at least 1 natural color on your characters.

• characters should not look to closely alike

• King Ai does not want a tone of White, Red & Black, Green, or bright yellow themed characters

• Do not use all neon colors, look at the links to some color charts in the "helpful tools" section these will give you some colors you can use that are not natural but are not neon.

• your character doesn't have to have unatural colors, he or she can have normal colors but unatural apendages (multiple tails, ears, wings, fangs, horns, chains, colars and so on)

Rules:

• If fits King Ai's requirements

• No bases, dollmaker images, linearts, or blank renders. you must render or draw the image yourself.

• Must be a full body image

• do not act out or complain if your character doesn't make it in or does not fit requirments

• Do not copy, mimic, or base your characters design off of anyone elses

•  Send in a Short Bio

• If your character gets in It's page must be up within 2 days of it's acception. The bio MUST be filled out correctly and with detail. If the page gets up but the History says " comming soon" or is any less that 5 lines long, Your character will not be part of the pride anymore.

• If you ever use a base on your characters page, you MUST credit the original artist by name or your character will not be apart of the pride anymore.

• all characters may only mate/ pair up within the pride, they cannot mate with outside sparkle characters.

• If your character gets in and wants to have a cub, They must fit all thepride requirements or they will not be apart of this pride and will be ignored in pride images, RPs, and fanfictions.

• It's a serious contest but remember that sparkle characters are ment to be fun so have fun making your character ^^

• you may enter as many characters as you'd like.

•  Please read the Positions List and state which one your character wants.

History: Benika's mother is a huntress, and her father is a fighter. She loves to go along with them and learn how to do what they do best. She always loved to help her father when fighting. That's why she has so many scars. She thinks it makes her look tough, exspesily in front of Riku. She is daddy's little girl and almost always gets whatever she wants. One day she didn't go with him to fight. She went to go play with Riku and all the other cubs. That night, he didn't come back. She wasn't afraid that her had died, because he is a very strong lion. The next morning, he still wasn't back. And on top of that, she couldn't find Riku. Then, she started looking for her father. She found him dead near a river. She was sad and mad at the same time. "Whoever did this to you...I- I'll kill them!" She cried. Then she heard a familiar voice coming from behind. It was Riku's father. "Hello Benny, looks like you found your father." "No! You!" She yelled out and started to punce him, then he thew her to the other side of the river with one paw. She tried to get up, but she couldn't. "If you tell anyone I killed him, I will kill you," He treatened. Riku peered out from behind his father. "R-Riku, no," she managed to choke out. He just hung his head in disapointment. "Come Riku!" His father yelled. When she went home, it was nearly midnight. "Benika! There you are! Where have you been, you're bleeding! What happened?!" her mother asked. "I found dad," she said with her head hanging down. "You did! Is he Ok? Where is he?"She asked. "H-he's.....dead!"She sobbed. Her mother always takes Benika when he hunts now, and makes sure she doesn't go back to where her father is, because she came back with scars. She will never forget her father and what her crush's father did. She plans to kill him when she's older.

He looked at her she had been a little beaten up from protecting her only son and wanted him to be safe. His name was King Ai and he ruled a pride full of special like lions and his mother begged him to take her son and hide him anywhere and to not let those lionesses get him. She begged for what felt like hours but was only mere seconds when King Ai had taken the cub and ran off leaving Ambrosios's mother to die but she was happy her son would not bear such a curse that she was about to receive. Ambrosios watched as he was carried away from his mother and taken to a place he had never seen before a beautiful pride to which he would soon call his own for the time being. Since then King Ai had taken him in and raised him along with his two daughters. I hope this is okay with you Esca

(Continuing history Here): Every week this scientist would inject her with this strange fluid saying it was an experiment on her cubs. When She heard that she tried to escape frequently although never succeeded, One night she was freed from her cage by a wild life foundation group that had managed to sneak in and released her back into the wild. She was grateful but with so much strain on her body she had not gotten far but delved deep into the jungles core and collapsed from exhaustion. Later that night she had gave birth to four cubs but three did not make it and only one that had seemed to have a stinger on his tail. She feared it had something to do with this scientists dastardly experiments. She hoped the cub would grow out of it as he aged but she was terribly wrong. Ambrosios was his name and he only grew to look more weird he had grown slight horns on his head and his back legs looked like they had been terribly burned and his eyes were a blood shot red with golden pupils but the weirdest thing was his scorpion like tail. Ambrosios grew to be a gentle cub but was never liked by other cubs and the lioness grew fearful of him fearing he'd turn into a killer and wanted to kill him off quick as possible. His mother would not allow that as she picked him up and carried him as far as possible trying to keep him safe. Ambrosios's mother reached a strange part of the jungle but the lionesses were still fallowing her it was then she bumped into a strange lion.

Name: Ambrosios Meaning: Immortal Gender: Male Age: Cub-Teen-Adult Breed: Scorpion (Lion and Scorpion mix) Position: Prince (Will have a crush on Xing) Personality: Easily frightened because of his looks he was mocked and teased for it. Ambrosios although looks threatening is completely well almost completely harmless. He is a very kind and loving character and looks up to those wiser then him. Ambrosios is also one to fight for those he cares about although he is terrified of fighting he will fight for those he loves. He has a hard time making friends because of his odd appearance and is also frequently hunted after because of his unique look but all in all he is a kind and gentle creature. Crush/Mate: He has a crush on Ai's daughter Xing but keeps it to himself. History: Believed to be born in a mythical legend Ambrosios was believed to be created when the great spirit Scorpio came down and impregnated a lioness thus creating Ambrosios. At least that was the explanation she gave to anyone who asked for what really happened to Ambrosios was something even he could not remember himself but his mother remembered it all. It started off with her being stuck in a lab captured by poachers and given to a scientist for some cruel experiment that she had even lost her mate trying to get away from them. The scientist had injected her with some strange venom like fluid. It caused her constant pain that was unbearable. She did not die but every time her cubs moved she would be in constant pain which was often.

Name: Desta (meaning 'joy') Gender: Female Position: Story teller Parents: Unknown Siblings: A sister (I'll make her later) Mate: None Cubs: None Personality: Desta is generally quite quiet and reserved, she tends not to interact with many of her pridemates but she is also known to be quite kind and considerate. She tends to be a very deep thinker which helps with her task of telling stories to the pride. She loves to learn and has a great curiosity about the world around her. History: Desta was born in the Sparklelands pride quite soon after King Ai himself. She was brought up to fill her mother's position of Story Teller from a very young age and encouraged to learn about the pride and the world around her but because of her small size and timid personality she was often picked on by elder cubs which caused her to further retreat into her own shell. When her mother died, Desta was in her late teenage years, she was promoted to one of the pride's story tellers and quickly proved that her mother's training had paid off. She was able to come up with long and detailed stories to entertain the pride which also caused to be a favourite amongst the pride's cubs.

Erevu was born from two regular lions. She did not remember much, only their names. They were indeed boring and regular to her, but they were her parents. Her parents didn't seem to care that she was their daughter, their DNA. They abandoned her. Erevu was angry, and marched off on her own. She stumbled upon the Sparklelands, and saw cubs that were e regular. They had wings, horns, spikes, and they were very colorful. She saw that she was one of them, and hurried to play with them. But the other cubs wouldn't even talk to her; she was an outlander. They didn't know her, and didn't approach her. Erevu went off sad and lonely, when she heard a voice talking to her. "Hey, who are you?" A males voice said. "I am King Ai," the voice beamed with Pride. A lion with wings was standing before her. She thought he was absolutely..... Gorgeous! She wanted to meet him. She introduced herself, and, after King Ai saw that she wasn't a threat, welcomed her into the Pride. They became friends, until another lioness came along, and stole King Ai's heart. Erevu was sad, but figured she had not a chance anyway. She kept on her hopes though, still thinking about him for hours in a day.

She has a brown ponytail with blue and pink highlights, and she wears pinkish-purple eyeliner and eye-shadow. Her paws are blue, pink, and her chest is pink. Siblings: None Mate: King Ai Cubs: Xing Pride: Sparklelands Personality: Everu can be great fun if treated right by the right lions. She is ever-so playful, and always flirts with King Ai. Her friends tell everyone she is smart and outgoing, but also very harsh if been mean to. She always helps out with the Pride when help is needed, but tends to laze around, and loaf around alot. She is out daily, before the sun rises, chucking what ever she can at trees, then testing her strength on an old beaten up leave doll her mother gave her. She eventually destroys the doll, for it made her self-conscious. Likes: food, sleep, King Ai, her ability to injure, hunting Dislikes: bossy lionesses, lionesses that flirt with King Ai, rain And the history is above ^^^^^

Light blue/ teal eyes. Blue-grayish eye rings and ear fur Tail: Two tails with red tuft and red spots Personality: Nyeimbi is a shy, quiet cub. She only has a few close friends that she trusts and gets along with. Other than the few friends, she is usually alone. She likes being able to express herself when she is alone. History: Nyeimbi was born outside of the pride. Her parents were ordinary lions and were shocked to see that their daughter was so different. Despite her major physical differences, they still loved her and did everything in their power to make sure that she knew they loved her. One day, a rogue stumbled across the small family. He was crazy; his mind warped from being alone for his whole life. The rogue was too aggressive for his own good and went on a rampage when he found the family. Nyeimbi's brother and father rushed to protect the other members of the family. Usuzi, Nyeimbi's mother, was wounded by the rogue. She managed to get Nyeimbi to safety and went back to assist her brother and father. Nyeimbi watched from the top of a cliff as her whole family was killed by the insane rogue. After seeing her whole family murdered, Nyeimbi built up a hard wall. She decided that she would become a rogue herself. As she was trying to find a place to build her home, she ran into another cub named Zhenji. She trusted the cub immediately because she was just as different as Nyeimbi. Zhenji led her back to the SparkleLands pride and they accepted the helpless cub. Zhenji came to be one of Nyeimbi's closest friends in the pride. though Nyeimbi had other friends in the pride, she mostly preferred to be alone.

Here's her history: History: Rhenja was the only cub in her litter, and was a rare breed of lion called 'Satg lion.' She was born to two regular lions in the Sparke Land pride. She was so rare that her parents abandoaned her with, and she was left as an outcast. She developed a hard shell, and built a wall so that she would never get hurt again. However, she couldn't help but became good friends with the future leader of the pride, Ai. She always played with him, and all of her troubles left her when she was with him. Soon she developed a crush on him, though of course she never told him this. When they were teens Rhenja grew out of her crush for Ai, and left the pride to travel and find what she wanted to do in her life. When she was a young adult she realized that what she wanted most was Ai, and she went back to the pride. Ai welcomed her back, and the two reconnected. Soon all of Rhenja's feelings for Ai came back, but she found herself not crushing on him, but falling in love with him. Soon Ai came to her and asked her to rule with him, and she accepted, knowing that he also ment will you become my mate. Soon, she became pregnant and gave birth a few weeks later. They hada daughter, and named her Xing.
