Note: I have changed a few things around so please take a look at that if you have yet to submit a character/ your character has not been accepted yet. 

Hello everyone! 

Recently I created my one and only Fursona, Reem, who is a founder of the Sun Pride alongside her twin brother Kopa. I'm holding this contest to find members for their little desert oasis pride. 

The rules are as follows: 

I. Rules

1. A maximum of 2 character submission per person; this is because I always envisioned the sun pride to be on the smaller side of things and as such I will at max choose eight or nine characters that I think would fit well with the story/theme I have in mind. 

2. Be Creative! I would like to see your most interesting designed lions with their interesting stories! You don't have to be as crazy detailed as I am when it comes to making their histories (I know I get a little too elaborate in this department), however, I would like more than just "Character X was born in the pridelands and then decided to join the sun pride." That's not to say they can't be from the pridelands, but I would like for you to put effort into your character submissions. You may either PM me the profile or simply comment it here on the contest!

Note: I say "lions" but really any animal that would make sense in the TLK universe is a welcome competitor!

3. With that in mind, I would like a detailed paragraph/explenation of how your lion came to be a part of the sun pride. This explanation will obviously depend on the character and what you have in mind for them, but as an example, your character may have needed medical assistance and they heard about Reem's ability and after they were treated they wanted to stay, etc....This is probably the most important portion of your submission.

4. The character story must tie in well with Reem's story. For example, in her history Reem is treated back to health by Nirmala, as such, your character can't be the one who supposedly cures her. 

5. To make the process easier, please read Reem's history (which I promise is not as long as most typical histories that I normally write.)

6. The last part of your submission is a render (doesn't have to be full body, and you are allowed to use bases) of your character(s) and their meeting either Reem or Kopa (depending again on how your character came to be a member of this pride.)

II. Prizes

Prizes! In the case of this contest, there is no first place, second place, etc... anyone who presents me with a good character that I would like to join the pride is a winner. As such, the prizes can vary. 

Anyone who's character is chosen will receive a render of their character interacting with either Reem or Kopa (or both!)

Additionally, winners will also have the option of either:

1. Receiving a render of any one of your characters (your choice) or

2. Receiving one design for you to turn into a character. (the designs are a surprise!)

The last two options are extra prizes; everyone will receive a render of their character with Reem and/or Kopa if they win. 

III. Summary

To summarize, you will be making three submissions per character. 

The first bit is the profile, as well thought out as you can make it.

The second is a detailed profile picture of the character you are entering.

The third is a render of your character with either Reem or Kopa.

Name: Hajari. Name Meaning/Origin: It means, "Commander" in "Indian". Gender: Male. Age:Adult (6-7 years). Parent(s): Ni and some unknown name lioness (younger than Ni). Sibling(s): ---- Crush(es): ---- Mate(s): ----- Friend(s): Reem, Kopa, Abelina, (and many others of the pride). Pride(s): Ni's Pride (born and raised), Sun Pride (left Ni's Pride when he became a young adult able to defend for himself, met Reem and Kopa on his journey). Rank(s): Lead Guard (Protects the Sun Pride from any dangers, does patrolling rounds). Personality/Bio: Hajari is the son of Ni. He was born in Ni's 'medium size' pride and does not have any royal statuses since Ni is not a King, just a regular leader of the pride. He has many half-siblings older and younger than he (unknown name) since Ni is an older lion (much older than Simba and Nala. He was already an young adult when they were cubs). Some of the siblings Hajari knows, some he does not. Out of all his siblings, Hajari somehow did not bond well with Ni. Maybe because Ni was always strict on him about certain things and how it is important for male lions to defend and lead. Ni has had a bad experience growing up being kicked out of his own pride (his previous one) having to battle and start out a pride all over. and losing touch with his 'older' children and other family members. It took him a long time to build again and to find the right lionesses who were loyal to join and bare him cubs (so the pride can expand quicker). Hajari is more close to his mother, which he often spent time with when he was a cub or play with his siblings and/or friends. He made sure to stay out of his father's way because he was mainly afraid of him (not that he was violent or abusive) or just did not 'click'. When Hajari became a young adult at the age of 3, he decides to leave his father's pride to start a new life some place else. He was tired of dealing with his father's nonsense and did not know how much longer he can take it without things becoming "too wildly" serious. It would often worry his mother too and she talked to Ni several times about how he should behave better towards his son and to start a relationship. But Ni was not interested and so was Haraji. So, his mother had no problem with Haraji leaving. She knows he will do great on his own and hope that someday she will see him again whether he visits or she (mainly it will be her, Haraji has no intentions ever coming back to Ni's pride). A couple of years being unsuccessful at trying to join prides and/or try to build one himself, Haraji was out seeking again for a new place to call home, he runs into a wonderful nice land. There lives a pride called, 'The Sun Pride' ran by two close siblings. The pride was not big nor too small, but a nice regular sized pride. Haraji liked the idea of that and wondered if they had any room for any takers. Before he was about to approach them, he heard a strange call for help. One of the cubs in the pride was in danger with a hyena. Hajari quickly reacted, running over to save the day. He fought the hyena easily (since it was just one oddly) and the cub was able to escape freely. The members of the Sun Pride came to the scene to thank Haraji for his bravery and for also saving a young one's life. Reem and Kopa both were shocked and knew that it was such a wild 'blessing' from the winds that Haraji was there on time to save the cub. Haraji was not accepted into the Pride right away since Reem wanted to test and watch him more before she can truly trust him around. But Kopa on the other hand, loved that there could be a possible new male who appears to be stronger, older, bigger, and polite to join their pride. They needed a guard and Kopa felt that Haraji would fit right in. Reem was unsure about it in the beginning, but eventually eased up and trust that her brother knows what he is doing which turns out to be true in the end. Additionally, Reem treated Hajari's wounds from the hyena attack as a kind favor.

Name: Abelina. Name Meaning/Origin: It means, "A breath" and it is from 'German'. Gender: Lioness. Age: Adult. (2-3 years) Parent(s): Kula. Sibling(s):--- Crush(es): Kopa. Mate(es): Kopa. Cub(s): --- Friend(s): Reem, Kiara, Kopa, Haraji (and other cubs from her childhood). Pride(s): Pride Rock (Born and raised), The Sun Pride (current). Pride Rank(s): Lead huntress (The Sun Pride). Personality/Bio: Abelina is the daughter of Kula. She was born and raised at Pride Rock, living a nice decent life. She is great friends with the King and Queen's cubs 'Reem', 'Kopa' and 'Kiara' since her mother has been very close friends with Simba and Nala for many years. It was their tight bond which developed the same friendship with their own cubs. But Abelina became the most closest to Kopa. Every since his twin sister Reem was taken away from Pride Rock for her nightmares to be cured by Rafiki and next 'Nirmala' at the Night Pride, Kopa has been extremely lonesome and a bit stressed without being around his sister. The two were like two peas stuck in a pod and bothered Kopa a lot. Abelina had noticed his "strange'' moods and asked him privately if he was okay (mind you, they are still cubs). Kopa has not shared this personal information with anyone in the pride, but felt more comfortable to tell Abelina. For some odd reason, she made him calm, warm, and collected. He can trust her to not share anything and she forever kept his word. It was her promise they made them very 'close' over the years. They've always taken trips to the watering hole together, played games, and even hunted the same meals (when they were much older of course). It was as if Abelina has replaced Reem's empty space while she was gone away. When Reem made her way back into the pridelands to help aid in the search for her brother but entering the pride lands triggered the terrors again, so she was sent back to Rafiki. On her first night back in her parents’ land, she experienced the most draining and terrifying nightmare, which left her unconscious. After some time of healing, Reem was ecstatic to learn that her brother was in fact safe. Kopa came to visit his sister at the Tree of Life and spoke to her about leaving the pride lands behind, for her own good. Reem wasn’t keen on this idea at first, but Kopa would not let her near their home again. The two made a 'pack' promise that Kopa will never leave her side again. Kopa soon joins her to create a pride and asked Abelina if she would like to become their first member. Kopa at this time, is deeply in love with Abelina and would like to start a new chapter with her in it permanently. Abelina in the beginning was unsure and wanted to stay at Pride Rock with her mother. Kopa was crushed, hoping to start a family with Abelina. He felt she broke their promise and bond to never separate (the promise they've made when they were cubs). So he left with hurting silence. Abelina felt bad and thought it through many, many days alone. Kula noticed her weird behavior and asked her what was wrong. After explaining the situation, Kula told her daughter to go and live her own life. She told her that she will be okay and safe in the Pride Lands. She does not need Abelina to watch over her. She has lived her life and her job was to only raise Abelina into a great, beautiful lioness she is today. Abelina was emotional by this and thanked her mother for everything. That following evening, she left the Pride Lands and never turned back. She went to go find her best friend Reem and lover Kopa. Once Abelina was able to catch up to the two, Kopa was stunningly surprised that she traveled alone. He was still hurt but also happy in a odd way. He did not know what to say or react. Reem too was shocked and thought that her brother's romance had come to an official end, but it didnt. She respected Abelina for giving Kopa a chance and to also join their journey in building a pride. But she did not only just accept her for that, but she also accept her for watching Kopa and keeping him great company while she was away. It meant something special to Reem, knowing that someone else is caring for Kopa and will always be there for him when she could'nt. It meant everything to her, which Abelina has greatly earned her loyalty.

Here is her bio: Name: Keyrath Gender: Female Age: Young Adult Breed: White lioness Parents: Uknown rogues Siblings: None Mate: None yet Cubs: None Personality: Reserved, quite most of the times, she prefers shake her head or just growl to say she like or doesn't like something. She's calm, strong and brave. History: The parents of Keyrath were just a couple of lions who met by chance one night, both rogues, they separated and after a while Keyrath was born. Was the only cub alive from the litter, but still was hard for her mother find enough food for both. Keyrath was never attached to her mother. She used to be rude and cold with her own cub, never even were friends so when Keyrath was old enough she left her mother to be on her own. Even Keyrath met some lions after that she never search be part of a pride. Her extra long fangs make her talk "different" some even think "weird", so she was ashamed, and the result is she avoid others of her kind. Still she found, her fangs were use to something: the hunt. It took less time and effort to put a prey down also she was successful most of the time. Among their trips she found a rogue dark young male who treated her bad, like a bully, he used his force to hurt her only for fun and when he got bored let her go. That's how she lost part of her right ear. That night she realize she didn't want to be alone forever, would love to feel safe and have someone to trust o run for help. So she decided it was time to find her own pride. She found an oasis later, and on there it was two lions, quite similar, a guy and a girl. Normally she would to talk to them directly but something on their faces expressed confidence to her, even the male, doesn't seem a "bully" like the past male, he seem strong but protective, so she feel atracadero atracted to that. She found out that it was twins, Reem and Kopa who where forming her own pride, so Keyrath ask permission to join and a chance to proff she could be a good hunter for it...
