The lion and lioness base is by Lionlion11 I shall explain the male and female desgin Male : The male is Mohatu 's great great great grandson and his comes comes from his roots that belongs to dark furred lions and his genes were mostly dark liones insetad of pale lions (the father) and he got brown eyes from his great great grandfather Now the female : The female is Kovu's mother sister in law, her fur is dark beacuse she also have family with dark furred genes and she got a dark blue eyes as a gift from her great great grandmother and as Kovu's mother sister in law , she is one of lots of dark furred lions in the family

Glad you do! Lion base (c) SixNewAdvetures To explain his design: he is knowingly related to zira, but the other part of his family is unknown, thus where i think the pale genes came from. and i kept the blue eyes, but darkened them. and i kept the non-colored toes.

lioness base (c) sj-bases To explain the design: based on this from the bio: "When Zaliki was born her fur was light and one of the lionesses complained. “She won’t be able to hunt with that coat!” All the lioness’s murmured in agreement." so i took it as they're most likely not used to light coats, so her mother most-likely comes from a pride and gene-pool of dark coats.
