The Lion King contests
Create the best Family Picture!!
MaltashaGoal of the contest: Basically, this contest is being held to encourage some creativity as well as show your original characters some love and attention.
What you have to do: So take two/three or more characters of yours who are family (for example, three characters who are the mother, father and cub) and create an image or drawing of them spending quality time or something that shows bonding (some examples include, the three characters watching sunset, or your two OCs who are lovers star gazing, or your OCs who are brother and sister hugging/playing/helping, or a mother and a cub nuzzling etc). Get creative with it!! Try to do the most unique picture with the most unique story containing your original characters!
What you can do:
- Use screenshots from the movies, and render in them (credit should be given)
- Draw the scene
- Include a short story as well (optional, but may increase your chances of winning)
- Submit more than one entry (However, only one entry will be selected)
- Use an official character, IF they are related to your original character (For example, Kiara spending time with her cub which is your original character)
- Submit it as an image or a drawing on the source
What you can NOT do:
- Use only official characters
- Use bases
- Use a different theme other than 'family bonding'
If you are still confused you can contact me anytime!
Prizes:
1st Place: 2 images, 1 drawing (bust only)
2nd Place: 1 image, 1 drawing (bust only)
3rd Place: 1 drawing (bust only), 1 design
4rth Place: 1 design

Time for the results!!! It was incredibly hard for me as I absolutely
loved each and every entry, and since there were more than one entry
by a participant, all of which were equally beautiful, it made it
harder for me but I finally decided upon the results. So anyways... 1st Place goes to...PAWFACE!!!! I absolutely loved the idea behind your art, it was the most unique out of all!! Baby Wafa growing some love and bonding with his new family was so precious!! I'll never get over the cuteness Great job and congratulations! PM me
for the prizes!2nd Place goes to...Windhowler!!! It was difficult to choose since you had multiple, lovely entries, but I decided your art 'Big Brother Jot' was the best among all :D The way Jot is hugging and squeezing his sisters and the way he looks at Tamura with love, makes it so adorable!! Just shows how much the siblings love each other. However, I also didn't love your art 'None too keen' any less! PM
me for your prizes!3rd Place goes to...-WildFire-!! Totally loved the bonding between the brothers! I like how Kamau still is proud of his brother even if he himself wasn't chosen to be the Lion Guard. Great job! PM me for your prizes! 4rth Place goes to...Sierra! Your art was so cute! I liked how the brother stood up for the sister, shows how much he loves her!! PM me for your prizes! 5th Place goes to...KopaLover24!! Cute art you did of Kiara and her cubs there! PM me for your prizes! Also, I'd like to do a SPECIAL MENTION!! I absolutely loved the collab between Windhowler and Pawface- 'A Victorian Christmas'! It was so unique and at the same time shows family love and bonding, not to mention the fact that a WHOLE BUNCH of characters were shown love in this piece!! But since this was a collab, I wanted to avoid confusions between prizes so this amazing artwork went under 'special mention'. Anyways, congratulations everyone and have a nice day! Keep on showing your characters love! |
