Malka gave Tojo and Tama's son a warning and told him that everyone has rights and is equal- so you can't force someone to do something they don't want to. Weeks later a group of lionesses came to the pride seeking refuge after their pride had been destroyed by hyena's. One of them was a young lioness and Tama and Tojo's son, who was lonely, took to hanging around with her, and evntually they fell in love, and he lost his jealousy for Kipawa, giving their friendship a chance to reform.
When old enough, Kipawa and Malka's daughter married and they became the king and queen of the sunlands. Tama and Tojo's sun ran away and started his own pride with his new mate, but stayed in contact with the sunlanders. And they all lived happily ever after.

Chumvi's face lit up in a smile and the two nuzzled and went to sleep. Months later, Kula gave birth to a beautiful baby boy whom they named Kipawa, as he was a gift to them after all they'd been through. The cub grew up fast and made good friends with Malka's daughter and Tama and Tojo's son.
As he grew up, he and tama and Tojo's cub had a crush on the princess, but little did they know, she liked Kipawa. As they grew, Malka announced that whoever his daughter picked as her mate would be king, and Kipawa's power-hungry friend desperately wanted her for his own.
Malka's daughter one day admitted to Kipawa that she loved him, and Tama and Tojo's son overheard, he dived over to them and told Malka's daughter she would marry him and she had no choice. Kipawa turned on his friend to protect his love and Kipawa and Tama and Tojo's cub fell into a battle that was eventually ended by Malka. They explained the situation and he announced that the love of his daughter and Kipawa was true and that they would marry when they became of age.

She woke up looking into a pair of huge blue eyes and nearly screamed aloud. "Calm down, it's me, Tojo!" She got slowly up and saw Tojo was now fully grown with a glossy mane and two birds nesting in it. Behind him was Tama, running over to them to see what the commotion was about. "Who are- Kula?" She said shocked, and Kula nodded happily, nuzzling her old friend.
"Where am I?" Kula asked and Tojo smiled happily at her, "This is the sunlands, King Malka's pride." Kula gasped, she now remembered that her friend Malka was indeed a prince from another pride and had never thought of him being a king now.
Tama and Tojo led her to Malka's pride and she greeted him happily "Your majesty!" She joked. Suddenly she heard a voice behind her "Kula?" She turned to see Chumvi stood looking awestruck at her. And they ran forward and nuzzled each other. "I missed you so much!" Chumvi said happily.
Later on when Chumvi and Kula were alone in a cave Kula turned to him and said "I'm pregnant." Thinking the cub was Scars Chumvi drooped his head into his paws and sighed. Kula walked closer to him and whispered in his ear "It's yours."

Chumvi was a week later, called to Scar's cave, where he was told that as soon as the first lionesses came into heat, he would be exiled to avoid competition. Chumvi nodded and biting back tears, left the cave. He told Kula of the news and together they cried thinking that their love maybe was never meant to be. A few weeks later, it was the first day of Kula's heat and worried Scar would come looking for her she ran away to the grasslands with Chumvi where they walked and talked.
The two knew they would soon have to part and in passion, mated. Leaving Kula pregnant with Chumvi's cub.
That day, chumvi was called to Scar's cave, who told him to leave, Chumvi went to Kula and told her, saying he would try to find Tama and Tojo, two run aways from their childhood. Later on, Kula went to Rafiki who used the magic of the spirits to tell whether or not Kula was pregnant, and indeed she was. On hearing this news, Kula started to worry, and knowing she had to do it, went to Scar the next day and told him that she couldn't mate with him, for she was already pregnant. Scar flew into a rage and exiled Kula.
She wandered for days alone until eventually, out of starvation, she collapsed.

History: When Chumvi and Kula were cubs, Chumvi had a crush on Kula, and although Kula thought he was immature and silly, spent all her time with him and by the time they were teens, she had fallen for him too. They began to date, and fell deeply in love with each other. But this was Scar's rein and he wanted to mate with all the young females. Scar called out for Kula one day and told her that, one of her duties as a pride lioness was to help him to produce a heir and that she would as soon as she was in heat.
Kula ran out of the cave to Chumvi, whom she told everything. He didn't quite know what to say to it and simply nuzzled her and asked her to come for a walk with him. He told her that he would try his hardest to stop what Scar had promised happening to her, but knew deep down there was nothing he could do. Scar was an adult lion with a giant pack of hyena's on his side, and Chumvi was just a teen, not even a full mane yet. Kula understood by the look of sadness in his eyes that nothing could be done. "But I'll always love you" He told her before they went to sleep.
