Introduction

Hello and welcome to our contest, I say I because this is a Shared Contest between Claire Cooper and I. The Idea Started when I made Odysseus a Lion based off of the story "The Odyssey"  this sparked a few other Mythology story based Lions to spring forth, such as Andromeda and Persephone. With Encouragement from Namacub95 and Claire Cooper I countinued with my Mythology faimily tree, and made the Characters Adonis, Aphrodite, Eros, Erebus, Icarus/Hermaphrodius, Megaera, and Oedipus. From There Claire Suggested that we start up an Pride, She and I are both running this contest, and She is also doing the Judging and so on for the contest.

Name: Hades Gender: Male How was He or She Connected to the Olypians: Son of Cronus and Rhea, Brother of Zues, and has Persephone as his forced wife after abducting her from her mother, Demeter. Know for his long, dark hair and sickly skin tone. Personality: Gloomy, dark, evil, depressing, deceiving. Bio: After Cronus was overthrone Zues and Hades had to divide the lands and the throne. But Hades got the raw end of the deal. He became the god of the underworld, watching over the dead and controlling them with an iron fist. He barley ever left his dark kingdom and just sat in the darkess alone. Until one day he came up onto the earth to kidnap a young and beutiful girl he had spotted named Persephone. He took her from her mother, Demeter and dragged her into his kingdom and into a forced wedding. But when Zues caught word of this injustice, he immedietly came down to the underworld and demanded that he returned Persephone. But before he arrives Hades had got her to eat a magical grape fruit seed that trapped her into his kingdom. But Hades decided to cut a deal with his demanding brother. He would let Persephone stay with her mother on earth for half a year, but when six months past she would have to stay with him for six months and so on. When Demeter's daughter left home to her greedy husband she became depressed, causing the earth to turn cold with snow and dying plants. But when her daughter returned she became happy again, bringing life back to the plants and making the earth warm again. This explains the seasons of the year. Zues also had a three headed dog (or in this case, a three headed hyena) named Cerberus.
