Name: Hopeless (nicknamed Hope by friends)

Age: Around the same age as Simba 

Gender: Female 

Species: Lion

Personality: Quiet, distant, stubborn and serious, she’s not the type of lion many enjoy coming across. When she opens up however, she is extremely loyal to her friends. She has a bias against pride lions, since they refused to let her mother and father into the pride, resulting in her mother not surviving. She has trust problems and is on edge a lot of the time. 

Likes: Hunting, fighting, her friends, being away from her family, getting her own way and sleeping.

Dislikes: Being disturbed, pride lions, losing, her family, hyenas, her past and any animals that are threats.

Relation to the Lion king: Friends with Simba’s brother. Her mother was also killed by Shenzi, Banzai and Ed.

Appearance: Green-ish eyes, dark ear and rims. Dark brown fur, medium sized in height, but more on the slim side compared to some lionesses. Some scruffier fur, due to lack of childhood grooming  

History: 

Hopeless was born to two young rogues, the mother who was loving and a not so loving father. During a drought they became desperate and tries to go to Malka’s pride, sadly being turned down, due to them looking down on rogues. 

Her father ended up calling her Hopeless, as to him she was a burden and nothing more. Her mother did nickname her Hope, since that’s what she bought her. 

Her mother sadly got killed by hyenas when looking for food to feed the family and that was when her father left, leaving Hopeless to fend for herself. 
 

She did become friends with Kula during this time, when Scar became king. She often bought Kula and the others some food, and made a long term friendship with her and some of the other cubs in the pridelands. She was often chased away by the hyenas however.

It was difficult, but she learned to fight to fend for herself and get food. In her late teens she came across Sefu (-Wildfire-) and the two formed a team to fight against other lions. 

She often found herself sleeping in the borders of the pridelands, acting like nothing bothered her. However her past seemed to bring her down a lot.
