History: Afia and muarbi have known each other since cubhood and have been very close since then,As Afia and muarbi where growing up, Afia had developed a crush on her best friend Muarbi.

one day when Afia was a teenager, Afia went to speak with Sarabi (muarbi's mother), to ask if it was ok to ask Muarbi to be their girlfriend and Sarabi said yes as Sarabi thinks Afia would become a beautiful daughter in law to have one day and Sarabi also knows that Muarbi has a massave crush on Afia too.

when Afia was almost a full grown adult she began growing a mane, at first she was confused and scared by the sudden mane growing out of nowhere but then she remembered what her grandmother had told her when she was a cub, her grandmother had told her that there was a maned lioness back in the family bloodline somewhere and that Afia happened to inherit the mutation that had been passed down through the bloodline.

After a while Afia thought her mane was cool and so did everyone else in the pride including her mate muarbi, Sometimes Afia would cubsit and the cubs would sometimes snuggle up to Afia's mane whilst trying to sleep.

Afia and Muarbi don't have any cubs of their own but are discussing on adopting cubs who have lost their parents or their parents have died somehow.
